Samsung / Samsung unlock code for my M610

Hi all,

My daughter got given a samsung mobile M610. so for xmas i went and got her a optus sim card and once inside i find out that the phone is locked.

Can anyone help to tell me how i can unlock it for her without going and buying a new phone thanks
