The cat-and-mouse game between Apple and people with hacked iPhones continues, as Apple updates the iPhone to 1.1.4.

The update to 1.1.4 has been long-awaited, and everybody and their cat expected it to include the long-awaited software development kit compatibility allowing people to create and write their own applications running on the iPhone.
No dice, unfortunately, but the new upgrade does include 'bug fixes' according to Apple. Most importantly, it improves the coverage you get with your phone, SMS problems, bluetooth issues, and lots of other tiny, niggly faults.
