Nokia Firmware / installation advancedbb5

i recently bought adv bb5 box but i have a problem installing.i downloaded v2.17 and run the setup ok.i also connected box and installed drivers ok.it gave me new hardware instald and ready to use.but when i open,advac logo appears and disappears and nothing else.where am making a mistake?
