Motorolla / Formatting FMGR . . .

Can someone help me please, I'm having problem with my Motorola W396 phone. The last time that I use it, it displayed a message "messages full", and then it turned off. And every time I try to turn it on it display's the message "formatting FMGR. . . "
What will I do?
