Nokia Firmware / nokia 1200 - how to update firmware and transfer data (like mp3 ringtgones)?

hello!
i searched the forum but didnt find any tutorial for this topic.
i recently bought a data cable for my nokia 1200. i read that with the
"easy flash connector" its
possible to update the firmware by oneslf, right!? if so, with what tool can i
do this and where can i get the latest firmware?
the only software i tested was "mobileMB". i had access to the phone, tried to
upload a mp3 file and realized later that its only for midi... now i have that tune on my phone and cant delete it... :-(
how can i delete it?
any idea which software is good for doing such things? is it even possible to
upload MP3 ringtones? i once saw a "pimped" firmware (i guess) - what about those??
