Chinese Miracle / ebooks for mobile phones

I am having a mobile called wespro 3708i which is having e-book reader feature, but it doesn't work. How to read pdf files on this mobile?
There is a option called e-book reader, but it always shows "folder is empty", but the file are in the memory card. In the file manager under the ebook folder, Pdf files are stored & but it showing as unknown files
Presently i am converting the pdf files to picture format and reading it, but it consumes lot of space in my memory card.
i cant figure out whether i can read ebook with this phone,pls healp me
