Nokia CDMA/TDMA Cellphones / Unlock CDM phone to a Nigerian Provide

I have a LG VX 8350 locked to Verizon, I am in Nigeria and would want to change it to a provider over ere...I read I will need to connect an old phone to CDMA ORKSHOP, save the prl, esn etc...and load it to the new LG...buh when I connect the old Nokia 2125 CDMA, it connects to the com port buh it dont read phone info..

Help...please.
