Hello!...i need some help.

Hopefully I can find some way to unlock my phone on this site. Every second site offering to unlock your phone looks like a scam.

But after an hour or so of browsing around here, I can't comprehend any of this technical stuff, so it's not much help in fixing my problem.

The programs I've found have been of no help so far, and none seem to run under Windows 7, or they need activating.

My phone is a Nokia 6500S & I'm on the Telstra network. I try to make calls, but it says that the service has been disconnected. But for some reason I can still accept calls.

If anyone can be of help, it'd be much appreciated.

throw your phone to nerest nokia outlet and tell them to correct the fault or give you a new one. I tried the same and got the new n series phone.
