With the NEW update of the iPhones to ioS 7.0, unlocking has changed slightly.
Although may not be the case, but you might need iCloud details
to complete the activation.

Or if the handset has never gone through the process of iCloud then the details should not be required. In either case,
the unlock will happen, but when it comes to completing (sync in iTunes),

then it is up to you to have the correct details of your customer or your customet have  iCloud credentials.
If the customer does not know their details, then that will be their responsibility.
