Mediatek, the well known brand producer or most of the mobiles and tablets processors coming from the Chinese market, just unveiled the data of the 2 new CPU coming on the market.
The 1st one, destination of use tablets pc, called MT8135, is a quad core cpu incorporating inside 2 cortex a17 and 2 high efficiency cortex a7 plus the latest GPU from Imagination Technologies, the PowerVR™ Series6.
All these "beasts" managed by a highly optimized ARM® big.LITTLE™ processing subsystem show on the benchmark side numbers overtaking the concurrent processors actually on the market and this without draininfg the batteries as the concurrency do.
The 2nd one, no name at the moment if not "True Octa-Core" is and Octa-core cpu destinated to the smartphones market. Able to make running all the 8 cores in the same moment and with a frequency up to 2 ghz always at 100% of power efficiency this cpu shoud give the right engine under the coming mobiles bonnet to race against the more blazoned world brands: waiting for the 1st Micromax or Alcatel using this CPU to see if they got the target or not.
