what you have to do is to look for the nearest nokia care center
then show them your dead phone..
they will re-program it..you'll be waiting for about 3 hours...
then after that your phone will be reborn...
and they will update your phone's software also...
this service is free..
i have a dead N73-1 and its ok now..
note:you shouldn't have your phone repaired or dropped or any damaged..
i think they will charged for fixing other damage...
